Windows 10: Unable to access BIOS at all

Hi there all, recently I have been trying to run virtualisation software on my computer and as a result I have had to go to my BIOS to change the VT-X setting from disabled to enabled.

This would normally be easy however upon attempting to access the bios through normal means (Mashing the function keys and Delete on startup), through the command line (Which resulted in a response of "Boot to firmware UI is not supported by this system's firmware"), Booting through recovery to enter UEFI mode (The option for UEFI simply wasn't available) and even attempting to use Powershell to enter or even edit the BIOS (with little success due to my inexperience) I am now stuck.

From my research it seems i'm running a 'Legacy' BIOS which for some reason means I am unable to access the BIOS and perhaps this could be resolved through updating my BIOS? If that is the case then please advise me as to how I should go about updating my BIOS.
