Windows 10: unable to access my new installed windows office home and student.

Recently bought office home and student 2019, a product key was issued and I was asked to go to the Microsoft office website https://redeem.microsoft.com/?wa=wsignin1.0.


I placed the product key and installed the programme. Currently I am still having the same problem the system says I need to activate a subscription to office 365. The product I bought was home and student.


When I try and type on word or excel etc a message comes up "you can't make changes as the selection is locked".


I had a much older version of office which stopped working and people said it was out of date and could run on the MAC update hence the new purchase. When I checked on the about word section version 16.40 appears with product id 0000000000


I also typed in the product key again and it now says the key has been used.


Any ideas of what the problem could be?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Office 365 for students

Its possible you need to download the software install files from the schools website if you purchased it through the school.

• Please uninstall any Office trial versions on your device before installing Office 365 Education.
• Open the Microsoft Office 365 Web site.
• On the Office in education screen, enter your IT Account NetID, followed by <university email
  address> and click Get Started.
• Select I'm a student on the next page. You will be sent an email with instructions.
• Follow the steps in the email. It is recommended that you use the same password as you use for other
  University services.
