Windows 10: Unable to activate microsoft 365

Please note I have purchase a one month subscription for microsoft 365 and I think I have installed it and cannot activate it. . Please note that I already have office for home and business 2016 installed into my current PC already. when I check my account for words, it still show microsoft office home and business 2016. Do I have to change license?

Windows 10 Office 365 cannot open files from: recent file list

Thanks for the tip! I followed all above steps.

So far I can open files from the Recent files list when I enter Word itself, however I still am unable to open any documents using the Word icon pinned to the taskbar:

Unable to Activate Office 365 Pro Plus on Windows 10


Try accessing your Office 365 account using your student email .edu address. From there, you can download a click to run application (not the full installer version) that should automatically activate.

We appreciate your response, Keith. We suggest that you update Office 365 and see if it'll make a difference. You can simply do it by opening any Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Here are the steps on how to do so:

• Open Office app, then click on File.
• Look for Account, then click on Update.
• Once done, restart your computer.
