Windows 10: Unable to Activate

I've downloaded creation tool and formatted windows after i upgraded some hardware parts on my computer. When i am trying to activate windows it says that it's not able to do it. And when i run the troubleshooter it tells me that i have Windows 10 Pro installed and a Windows 10 Home digital license.

Unable to Activate Win 8

I was about to suggest run CMD as Admin and then do a "slmgr -ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" activation...does anyone know if that works with win8?

 

Unable to Activate Win 8

I got Win 8 isntalled on my file server, but I am unable to activate it with the key. Says the key is invalid. Since I work at microsoft I got a retail version from the employee store. I have been doing some reading, and to be able to activate Win8 with the key there needs to be a previous version of Windows installed for it to work. WTF, so you can't do clean installs?

And the box says nothing about Upgrade version. Straight Windows 8 Pro.

 

Unable to activate flash using Edge

trolleybus I did follow the the third option or section labeled "Alternatively" from your Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge) link. This is what I come up with.

I'm assuming that you still have the slider switch still toggled on in "Advanced Settings". If not don't fret there is still time to change it at step #2.

Go to your Glasgow Tram No.488 site. You may still see the flash requirement, but follow step #1 and the "be careful" box will drop then go to #2:





After #2 you should see this next attachment, then follow the red instructions to refresh the page to see your changes:



Note If you already have the flash slider on in "Advanced Settings" you may see this "refresh to see your changes" box instead of the "Allow adobe flash" in the first attachment

• You can either click anywhere on the Glasgow page to close the Info box then click on the refresh button; It's the circled arrow trying to catch its tail next to the little "home button", or
• You can click twice on the refresh button; The first click will close the Info box, the second click will refresh the page, and you should see this:

• @trolleybus;, I tested the permission setting and it does hold when creating the Glasgow site in a new tab.
• @Berton;, You may want to try this for your script on your site but I'm not sure how it would show up in the info box in the address bar. You might have luck adding the clock and then going to: Advanced Settings in Edge >>Scroll down a bit to Website Permissions >>click on Manage. Make sure the clock is on your page before adding your website to the permissions list and hopefully Edge will accept it. One caveat; If your website is multiple pages and your clock is on every page you may have to add every page's address to the manage list.
