Windows 10: Unable to add another MS account, always asks for password or verification code sent to email

I need to add my another Microsoft account to Microsoft Store. After entering the email address, it asks for a password. After entered the password, it shows a box that says "Use Windows Hello with your account". After clicking OK, it asks for the password again, and again, and again... it doesn't say that the password is wrong.Then I tried "Other ways to sign in", choose to send a code to the email address. Then after entering the code, it asks for password again. Entered the password, and it asks to send another code to the email. It goes on and on like this.I tried it from Microsoft Store,

Verification Code for my account & Changing Windows Password

Hello, I was wondering why am I unable to receive an account verification code? I created a Microsoft account so I could try to change my Windows password but every time I attempt to find a solution so that I can change it, it
consonantly ask for an account verification. It only went through once (message sent to me once) and after that each time I request, it never gets sent to me. It constantly wants me to use a "backup" email or account of some sort and when I do it goes to account
recovery when I don't need my account to be recovered and when that one time it sent me a verification email, it was a 5 digit code and not the apparent 7 digit code it asked for (to change my Windows password). I want to know why this is happening and why
are my email request not going through and I'm only get emails from the requested backup? Can you please send me the proper code next time to the original email so I can actually solve the problem I had in the first place which was changing my Windows password
instead of never getting/receiving an emails from Microsoft (from this email)?

Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

Gmail
Outlook

The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

 

The verification code sent to my email is always wrong

4. Browser Issues: Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try using a different browser or device to enter the verification code.
   

Please note that some services may have limited functionality in Iran which could be contributing to this issue.
