    Unable to boot following October 2018 windows 10 update


    I have a Lenovo Z575 Ideapad which originally had Windows 7 installed, it was updated to Windows 10 via the official free upgrade. It has been running Window 10 (64 bit) fine, however following a Window update when switched on all i get is a black screen, i am unable to get into the boot settings, i have tried every key from F1 to F12 with no results, turning the computer on and off multi times makes no difference, still just a black screen. I have downloaded the Windows 10 Media creation tool and installed onto a USB but the Lenovo fails to react to it.

    Can anyone please help to get it back running.
