Windows 10: Unable to boot Surface after Windows update. Recovery options error message: Bit Locker key...

Hello everyone. I have a Surface Pro 4 with the Windows Insider Programme (slow) latest update on. While restarting my devise, the error screen 0xc0210000 comes up. I do everything it tells me to do. When I press Windows key, it comes up with another recovery screen this time saying to press the Windows key to use a different operating system. Then it comes up with the BitLocker recovery screen. I enter my BitLocker code & it restarts & goes back to that original screen. It worked once, but I Accidentally turned off the computer in the recovery options screen. I am also fine with reading my computer & putting a fresh Windows 10 on it. So long as I don't lose my copy of Windows 10 Pro. Thank you for reading. I really need help with this because Microsoft Windows Technical Support couldn't help me.

1. What is the error message appears when you’re trying to enter a Bit locker key?
   
2. What is the version of Windows 10 you have installed?
   
3. What is the make and model number of your computer?
   

Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.

Bit Locker recovery Key/ complications

I have just recently purchased a new Lenovo Tablet (MIIX 320 ) Windows 10 Home, it was working great and was easily set up. It was fine for about two days until Windows preformed an auto-update. After the up date I can no longer boot the device. I get a
blue screen asking for a bit locker recovery key.

In reviewing the devices on my Microsoft account I find the device listed twice with bit locker activated. There is no recovery key recorded on the account and there is no ay to retrieve a key. The Tablet OS is Windows 10 Home which for all intents and purposes
cannot support Bit Locker encryption but I clearly have a frozen blue screen asking for a key.

Lenovo sends me to Microsoft and Microsoft sends me to a service. The service wants $499.95 for one time service with no guarantee for the repair. I am very concerned that I should have to pay $500 to repair a new device that cost $300.

I have done all the attempts from the Command prompt to recover the key and keep getting a error indicating the code cannot be found. Meaning the key is not recorded on this device.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue.

 

Surface Pro 3 - Windows 10 Bit Locker key on reboot

while up in Canada, I turned on my Surface Pro 3 to discover a bit locker recovery key was required. I have never turned on bit locker. I upgraded to windows 10 months ago and have had no issues. Did I have an auto update to awry? Now every time I boot
it goes back to bit locker and wants a key. Thank goodness I was able to access the key through my MS online account. But entering this number every time is a big hassle. Help! thanks. Craig
