  1. Unable to change location of pictures and documents folders

When I try to change the location of the documents folder and the pictures folder, I get a message, "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied."
I get this message whether or not I choose to move the files (of which there are none) from the default location.
Incidentally, I had no problem changing the location of downloads, music, and videos.

    :)

  2. Document Library hijacked by OneDrive after update

The instructions above did not work. The location is set to C:\Users\<myusername>\OneDrive. I moved all of the files out of the OneDrive Documents folder. The Location field in the Properties dialog is not editable so I was unable to change it. On
top of that I noticed that the Pictures system folder is also the OneDrive folder.

    Destkop File Location

After a windows update my documents, pictures, music, video and desktop folders paths were all reset to there default locations. I have multiple drives in my pc so I changed the path of the pictures, music, documents and video folder to my D drive. But when
I changed the path of my Desktop folder I made a mistake. I changed it to C/users/public/public desktop. But now I am unable to revert the change. It denies me access and when you right click on the desktop icon and go to desktop and then the location tab,
it won't show the options to revert, change or target.

Hopefully you guys could help me.

  4. Unable to change location of pictures and documents folders

I found the solution. I figured it had something to do with OneDrive. I had unlinked OneDrive, but I then had to delete the folders from OneDrive in a browser. Then, I had to re-link OneDrive to my PC. This allowed me to then move the folders where I wished.
