Windows 10: Unable to change PIN for Sign-In

I first purchased my PC in 2015 and had set up my user account and pin for sign-in option. After several iterations of windows updates, I am presently trying to change my PIN number used for sign-iin upon boot or after locking my PC. However, the Sign-In Options in the Settings menu states "Windows Hello PIN" as "This option is currently unavailable-click to learn more". When I click it, it gives me two options: "Learn More" or "Sorry, this PIN isn't working for your organization's resources. Tap or click here to fix it." If I select the latter, it promps me to sign into my Microsoft account.

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

Problem Changing PIN or Hitting forgot my PIN

• When was the Pin created?

Are you able to sign in with your Pin? If you are unable to I would suggest you to refer to the suggestion from Jessen P replied on April 25, 2015 and check if that helps.
