Unable to change resolution to higher than 1280"1024 (with driver installed)

It happened after I changed some of the settings to save some spare space from my C:/.

    Changes I've made:

    • Changed Virtual RAM to other disk(X:/).
    • Changed TEMP & TMP Environment Variables (both system and user path) to other disk(X:/temp).

Things I've tried to solve the problem:

    • Turn the PC off and on again.
    • Reinstall Nvidia driver with clean install option.
    • Change TEMP & TMP back to default settings.

But none of above worked, so I came here for some help.

    • System build: MS Win10 professional 10.0.18362
    • CPU: i3-9100F
    • GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX1070 FTW driver ver.436.48

    :)

  3. Screen Resolution to 1280 x1024

I am trying to 'extend my display' to use 2 screens. When I specify 'extend my display' in the Display application, my monitor says 'Input signal out of Range', change settings to 1280 x 1024, however my laptop doesn't allow me to change the resolution
to this setting. If I don't have 'extend my display' on and have 'duplicate my display', my laptop will then allow the 1280 x 1024 display resolution option. I am running Windows 10 Home edition on my HP laptop, the monitor I am trying to use is an HP ProDisplay
P17A. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
