Windows 10: unable to close a drive

I am using Windows 10 2004 64 bit. I inserted a thumb drive to back up my pc. It is the InfinitiKloud 64 bit. It didn't open after a time so I unplugged it.


I should have used the "eject media safely" but I didn't. then I reinserted it and it said there was a program open that I had to close before I could continue. I looked in the control panel and seen drive "e" was showing up twice. My folder does not open and I am unable to find how to close a program that I can not see. I have restarted and shut down the machine but nothing changes. Now I am unable to use my back up thumb drive until I can close the program that I initially opened.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Hard drive/ OS issue

• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD
• restarted
