Windows 10: Unable to complete Updates - undoing

Hi,

we had a power shortage and when I reopened the pc, I had a message that there was an update. The updates got stuck at 94% after 4 hours of running. I did a reboot and got the same thing, it was stuck at 94% overnight. I reboot again and got the message We could not complete the changes, undoing changes, it has been running for almost 20 hours now.

Is there a way to shut down and reopen in safe mode so I can do a restore on an older version?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Unable to complete updates. Undoing changes

We have been doing successful updates since we've owned this computer for 2 years. Its a Dell All In One. The last successful update was on 4/11/2018. Now for the last two weeks we keep getting this every day after it almost completes the update to 100%:
"unable to complete updates. Undoing changes" I get no error code. I tried the trouble shooter and this is what it gave me:
