Windows 10: UNABLE TO CONNECT PRINTER WITH NETWORK SHARING AFTER UPDATE

Hello Sir, I'm using Windows 10 from many years but during past 6 month I'm facing issue with my windows 10 that after updating windows 10 My all other PC's which are connected with my computer through LAN they count not connect to the Printer now, I have Printer named Canon MF4800 Series. How ever I checked some Youtube videos and found the solution that to uninstall Windows 10 recent update KB5006670 and KB5005565 I success fully able to connect with the printer but after some time Windows again get updated and now I could not found such update named specifically and now i cannot Print from

Did you add the printer to both computers?

Instead of physically attaching the printer to a computer, attach it to the router, assign a static IP address to the printer in the router.

Then, it won't depend on that computer being turned on, or nor sleeping, in case someone else on the network wants to print.

That said, this is what needs to be set on the computer that has the printer physically connected -





The "Share" box needs to be checked, and a share name needs to be entered.

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
