Windows 10: Unable to delete a folder under roaming

So after deleting an application I went to the roaming folder to delete it and it keeps giving me a no permissions error. I cant change ownership, give permissions or anything, all show as no permissions. Even under command prompt open as administrator it gives the same error.Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


Suggestion:

1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
   x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
   NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

 

Roaming folder's setting not loaded comepletely?

I assume you are talking about this folder:

c:\Users\Jianwei\AppData\Roaming

If so then these steps should fix the problem:

1. Mark the code line below, then press Ctrl+C to copy it.
2. Click the Start globe.
3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code line.
4. Press Enter.
