Windows 10: Unable to download Whatsapp on windows 10 from the microsoft store

I never had this problem until recently. Still can't download to my desktop Windows 10 Pro but in my laptop running Windows 10 Pro the installed previous version shows "WhastsApp oudated but works.Unfortunately I uninstalled WhatsApp from my Desktop cause I supposed that the last version will work but it doesn't.I asked WhastApp for a solution but they answer with ca

Unable to download Whatsapp on windows 10 from the microsoft store

The microsoft store shows that the app is being downloaded but there is no progress whatsoever.

I was unable to open the whatsapp I downloaded from whatsapp.com so I tried downloading it from the microsoft store but I've not been able to.

Any suggestions are welcome.
