Windows 10: Unable to download Windows media feature pack

Hello,


I am trying to download the media feature pack as im getting errors with other apps that i dont have it. i have Windows 10 Pro N and i tried downloading it from the official site Version 1903 May 2019 64Bit but i keep getting the same error which reads ''the update is not applicable to your computer, even though my windows is up to date.

i did go to optional features and downloaded the media feature pack but it didnt solve it.


i just built my first pc so my knowledge about pc and windows is very basic, so any help would be much appreciated.

Problem with Media Feature Pack.

When I follow these steps Media Features are not listed, despite having downloaded and installed the Windows Media Feature Pack! Please help! Can't install GTA: V! Aaaargh!

 

Unable to install Windows Media Feature Pack correctly

As the title says, I'm unable to install the Media Feature Pack on my Windows 10 Pro N machine. I've downloaded it directly from Microsoft ( Download Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10 from Official Microsoft Download Center ) and startet it, but when I open the Control Panel
and browse to Programs->Enable/Disable Windows Features, media player features are missing entirely from the list.

Furthermore, when I open (the new) Settings->Updates and browse to see the installed updates the Feature Pack for Windows (KB3010081) is shown. However, when I click on deinstall updates I see a new update list (in the old Control Panel) und the Feature
Pack is again missing...

Do you know any way to install the Media Feature Pack properly?

FYI: It was working fine before the big november update.

Edit: Apparently Windows 10 November Edition needs a different Media Feature Pack than the normal Windows 10.

There is a big possibility that the version of the Media Feature Pack
that you're downloading is not compatible with the current version of your Windows. Let's try to check first your Windows version. See the steps below on how to do so:

• Press Windows key, then type in winver.
• A pop-up box will show up containing your Windows version.
• Send us a screenshot.

In the meantime, here are the Media Feature Pack for different Windows version:

• Media Feature Pack for N edition of Windows 10 Version 1703 (April 2017).
• Media Feature Pack for N editions of Windows 10 Version 1607.
