    Unable to fix error 1720 when installing Dell PowerManager PLS HELP!!!!I've read all of the related threads and nothing semes to work. i read that a file from HP ScanDoctro could messing up some code. But i'm unable to fully delete the file. also tried re installing and all of the "first aid", delete temps, dumpfiles, etc........this happened when updating stuff from dell suport manager. it updated bios and framework and then error 1720 wont allow to update the PowerManager. as a result i feel my laptop Dell G3 15 3590 is underperforming!Please help!!!!!!!!!

    Dell Inspiron 1720

    I upgraded Windows 7 Ultimate to Win 10 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop, and the display doesn't work. The upgrade loaded, and everything else seems to work on the laptop, just no screen. The laptop can't detect it's own display in the control panel,
    it will only detect the external monitor I have plugged in through the VGA port.

    The graphics card is the original that came on the laptop - NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS.

    Is there a driver update that fixes this?
