Windows 10: Unable to get into laptop

Hi,My daughter's laptop has performed an update and is now asking for user name and password. She does not have a user name and her old password is not working. I have tried running the machine in safe mode, but it requires a key to do that.To access the key, she needs her microsoft account details. She does not have a microsoft account. It is therefore impossible for her to access her laptop. I have tried on my account, but no key is associated with my account. The laptop is running Windows 11. Please can you advise how she can log on to her laptop.Thanks
