Windows 10: Unable to get into windows 10 and not receiving a password request after changing from...

Hello allright so I've wanted to switch my local profile and replace it with a microsoft one however after I did do it from windows settings however after turning it off it didn't ask me for a password. It just has a "sign in" but I was expecting it to ask for one since that's what I use on my microsoft account. Well what happened then after I clicked sign in it was loading for about a minute but didn't proceed into the system, the loading circle was there but it happened multiple times and I can't boot into it fully. I've tried finding information in the 3 bottom right buttons that we see before we login and thought maybe if I turn on flight mode then I could at least access the local account but the thing is it had no password and this has happened before, I wonder if not having a secured method such as that causes the circle to not do nothing because I am pretty sure that's what occured last time. I do have a password on this account of course so I was expecting for windows 10 to use that... Next thing I did was see if I can log off and switch the account but that was missing from there too.

Thanks for any advice I really need to find a workaround this.

To open System Properties and check the version of Windows, follow the steps below:

1. Open Run Command (Windows button+R).

2. In the dialog box type control system and hit enter.

If you are using a Microsoft Account to log into your system and you are unable to change the password, then I would suggest that you sign in online and change your password. Follow the steps below to do so.

• 1. Click on the link below to open the Microsoft site, and then select
  Security & privacy.

Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

• Select Change password.
• 
  Enter your current password, then the new password you want, then enter the new password again.
  
• 
  Select Save.

• What exactly happens when you try to change the password?
• What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue if any?
• Are you trying to change password for Microsoft account while signing to the device?

Kid locked out of Family account. Unable to change password

We understand the concern as you are unable to change your child’s Microsoft Account password. In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform these steps.

1. Login to
   www.login.live.com using your child’s Microsoft Account.
2. Click on forgot password.
3. Check the radio button and enter the Email account to send the code.
4. In case you don’t have access to that verification email account then click on
   I don’t have any of these.
5. Now follow the onscreen steps and check if you are able to reset the password.
