Windows 10: Unable to Hear Sound From Bluetooth Speakers.

Dear Microsoft Team,


Up until recently I used to connect my PC to my Bluetooth speaker without any problems and could listen to my audio without having to wear headphones (I also think this is how it should be ^^).

This has changed now, since I haven't been able to get any sound out of my speakers.
I am using a naim unity atom 'streamer' and a PC with windows 10 installed.

FYI: I can connect all of my devices to the speaker and they all play audio just fine. The only device incapable of making a piep is my PC. I don't know what changed but I would love to have it fixed somehow.

Bluetooth portable speakers are connected, but no sound.

After trying every suggested remedy I can find in these posts, I am still unable to get my Dell PC to play over my new JBL Bluetooth speakers. Briefly:

• speakers work OK with my android tablet. Tablet source has now been disconnected.
• PC is Bluetooth enabled. Windows 10 Bluetooth software has been updated, mere minutes ago.
• PC finds my speakers, correctly identifies them as Charge 2+, and tells me I am connected. My speakers, in turn, make an encouraging beepy sound as they presumably find my PC, but there is no sound.
• I have disconnected and reconnected (un-paired and re-paired) my speakers several times with no result.
• My 2-year old PC has no internal speakers. External speakers work correctly, and nothing is plugged into my headphone jack.

The silence is deafening. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received. Thanks.

 

Cannot hear through Bluetooth wireless headphones but speakers okay


Just installed Sennheiser MB Pro 2 UC Bluetooth wireless headset and cannot hear sounds but can hear via desktop speakers (Bose).
The Volume Mixer for Device shows:
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Headset Earphone (2 – Sennheiser BTD 800 USB)

If choose Speaker, sounds are good (i.e. can hear them) but if choose Headset nothing !

The Headset is used for Dragon NaturallySpeaking and the microphone works fine.

Sennheiser messages (i.e. Power on and Talk Time) can be heard okay.

I have this new Del compute and it has windows 10 installed. I am not able to hear anything related to sound coming from the computer. I had my speakers connected and nothing. I disconnected them and I have a headphone I can hear through sometimes but otherwise
nothing. I am not very computer savy but I hope this is one I can figure out. Can someone give me suggestions?
