Windows 10: Unable to insert formula from Math Input panel to Wordpad.

I can get Math Input Panel to translate a handwritten equation into text, but I cannot Insert it into a document. According to the (stupidly) locked thread on this subject,

one should hit INSERT, below the Math Input Panel, then switch to the other app and Paste, because the command Insert merely copies the text to the Clipboard. I have admittedly not tried Excel or Word (not installed yet), but this is not working in Wordpad or Notepad or Calculator. Since in these apps "Paste" is greyed out, I am convinced that Insert could not have succeeded in putting the equation into the Clipboard.

How do I insert the math expression from Math Input Panel into another app?
I have a Surface Go running Win10.

Thank you for being part of the Windows 10 family.

Sorry to know that you are facing issues with the Windows 10.

Once you are done with the formula click on Insert button on the bottom right of the window. This will paste the formula automatically in the document where you wish to use it. If you see that the formula has not been copied itself in the
application where you wished for, then there is nothing to worry about. The Math Input Panel saves your written formula in the clipboard by default. So use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl +V in the application and you will see it inserted.
