Windows 10: Unable to install HP model m627 digital camera on Windows 10

Hello:

I have had a new PC with Windows 10 installed on it for about 15 months. My HP digital camera, model M627 was installed on it by copying over the installation from my previous PC that was using Windows 7. Everything worked fine until about 1 week ago. Now I cannot download pictures from the camera to my PC and when I look, the camera is no longer installed on my new PC. When I try to import the pictures from my camera, the pictures show on the monitor screen but when I select the pictures I want to download, I keep getting an error message that states my pictures may not have been loaded and to try again. When I try to install the camera using the CD that came with the camera, I get a message I need to log on as an administrator and try it again. I am logged on as an administrator but still will not install.

Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.

We understand the concern as you are unable to find the Webcam and microphone driver in Device Manager. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What happens when you open the Camera app?
  
• Are you not able to see the webcam driver under Imaging devices?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

If you are getting the following error "We can't find your camera" Error Displays in Camera App", when opening the camera app, then follow the suggestions from this article:

Regarding the Microphone issue, we would suggest you to run the
Audio Troubleshooter listed under Troubleshooting from the

HP website once your PC gets detected.

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

I understand your concern about accessing HP simple pass after upgrading to Windows 10. We will help you with this issue.

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
