Windows 10: unable to install microsoft update on new laptop due to low storage on disc

I have been unable to install the windows 10 update since I got my laptop it says there is not enough disk space and I have not added anything to my laptop so its just things that came preloaded on the laptop I'm assuming I would think there is a way to do this update without having to delete everything or is there? i had read somewhere that you could use a memory stick instead of having to go out and purchase a whole new external hard drive

Can anyone help with a storage issue? I've only had this laptop 2 months and I can't receive updates due to low storage space. The only thing I have saved on it is a few pics, no documents or anything else... I don't understand why I don't have any storage!

Following a major Windows update around 4-6 weeks ago, my Microsoft Surface Pro displays a message 'Low disc space. You are running out of space on Disc: D: ' etc. I have read that this is a consequence of a Windows update. My Asus laptop, also Windows
10, underwent a major Windows update last night - that took over an hour - and this laptop is now displaying the same message, referring to a local disc F. This MUST be caused by the Windows 10 update. Can anyone provide a step by step fix please - I am not

windows insider not updating due to low storage on lumia 730

I have installed windows insider on mu 730, but its not updating due to low storage (Not enogh storage on phone). Problem still continues even after migrating most of the data from phone to SD.
