Windows 10: Unable to install purchased games from Microsoft Store after resetting PC

I purchased Forza Horizon 3 over a year ago and had no problems playing it then...... Fast forward to recently. I had factory reset my PC and I wanted to re-install everything, only problem is every time I try to re-install it wants me to re-purchase the game. I go onto the web browser and click the Play/Install button only for the app to re-appear prompting me to re-purchase the game. I go to the little ... on the side and select device but cant see my device, only my buddies PC when he let me borrow his for a couple weeks. Didn't have any issues installing the game while it was currently installed on my device. Tried troubleshooting the app store but no faults were found. I go to previous purchases and I can see the game there but when I go to my library its not there. I have tried almost everything but still no luck. I bought the ultimate edition which was like $150 so i'm just a little more than pissed the **** off that my money is now down the toilet. I will NEVER buy anything from Microsoft again until this issue is solved.

To install a game on you need to make sure that you sign in on your computer using the Microsoft account that you use to purchased the game. To install a game on Windows 10, you may follow the steps below:

• Using your Microsoft account, sign in to the PC where you want to install your games.
• On the Start screen, select the Store icon.
• In the Store, select Games from the menu.
• Browse to and select the game you want to buy.

If you already own the game, you can install it on your PC. Otherwise, select Install to download and install the game.

Unable to purchase app in store

Hello Nraina thank you for posting.

Here are some suggestions you can try in order to solve this issue.

• I would suggest you log with your Microsoft Account on
  https://account.live.com make sure your birth date, time&date and the time zone are correct.
  

• If you are having this issue on your Windows Phone, please check the time and date on the phone as well (<<settings <<time&date) and set them on manual.
  

• Please also log with the same Microsoft account to
  http://www.xbox.com and make sure you have created you Gamertag.

• As a last step, please just do a soft reset of the phone (if the issues are on you r Windows Phone)

Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons for 20 seconds, until the phone vibrates. Once it vibrates, release the buttons and the phone should restart.

Windows 10 PC stores game cancellation of purchase

Purchased the GTA game from stores, couldnot able to install on PC , realised the game for the mobile.
