Windows 10: Unable to install update 2018-10 Cumulative Update receive error code 0x80073712

Hello,


I've been trying for the a full day to install this 2018-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4462919), to no avail. I have googled the problem and have tried all the solutions available. Am I missing something? I also found out today that I had updates from June that were never installed - they never appeared the many times I've checked for updates since June.


Please help, I haven't even had this laptop a full year and it's been nothing but problems. HP Envy Laptop 17" running Windows 10 Home version 1803 that was installed on 6/2018 with OS build of 17134.165.

I have tried repeatedly to update over the past week and it's a no-go. What is the best COA?

I get Error code: (0x80073712) When trying to install 2018-06 Cumulative windows-10-update-kb4284819. The trouble shooter says there may be a data base error in windows update. What do I need to do?

I have a similar problem with Error Code (0x80073712) with update 2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4093112. It installs upto 99% and then freezes and reports the Error Code mentioned above and states "Some
update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later."I have tried all suggestions as how to resolve the issue but they dont work. What should I do to rectify the situation?
