Unable to launch website protected by .P12 certificate, Windows 10

Win 10 Pro w/16GB RAM, copious HDD, had update trouble in Nov/Dec. Eventually, update pronounced itself ok.

However, after that, a web site with a link protected by a .P12 Certificate suddenly fails. All other machines using same cert work just fine. Affects CHROME, EDGE, FIREFOX, and INTERNET EXPLORER.

The machine also has VirtualBox installed with a UBUNTU 18.10 guest VM. This VM uses FIREFOX to surf the web.

Using the SAME CERTIFICATE, the VM contacts the problem website just fine.

I conclude there's some kind of problem in Win 10 Certificate handling since Win 10 fails and UBUNTU works!

Network Troubleshooter is unable to identify the problem.

    Ideas anyone?

  2. Impossible to install P12 certificate on Microsoft Windows

    Hello,

It seems that now it's not possible to install a P12 certificate on windows (7 and 10) and of course when trying to import P12 on IE, Edge Chrome.

The error message is "wrong password", but I'm sure about the password, and it works fine with firefox.

I'm sure it was working before (some months ago).

I'm quiet sure about a problem on Windows, with for sure wrong error message.

    Regards,

    Laurent
