Windows 10: Unable to login to Minecraft Java Edition after account migration

-The migration was successful. There is no option to reattempt in the Mojang portal seriously, people stop sending me there.-There is no option in the Minecraft Launcher to use anything other than a Mojang account to login. Yes, I have tried using minecraft.exe to bypass the launcher, no dice.-I have tried simply reinstalling the Minecraft Launcher from my Mojang account. Still only has an option to use a Mojang login, which, yup, doesn't work because the migration was successful. Using the Microsoft account gives invalid username or password error. Mojang says it's not their problem. Micros

If you are using a specific browser, I would suggest you to try using any other browser and see if you face the same issue while accessing and downloading Minecraft Java Edition.

Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

Hi Microsoft,

I purchased minecraft Java edition back in 2015 and i am unable to migrate my account into the windows 10 edition. The only buttons i have are redeem code or download java edition.

From my understanding, i should be able to migrate it as long as i purchased minecraft before 2018. It should be noted i used to have the windows 10 version though it is now asking me to purchase.

If you have purchased several copies of Minecraft from Mojang, then I suggest you to refer the
Mojang refunds policy and check their refund policy.



If you want to swap your editions of Minecraft that you have purchased, please
Contact Mojang Support and they will help you with this.



If you have purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, then I suggest you to refer
Returning items you bought from Microsoft Store for exchange or refund
and check if you can get a refund.



As you need the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can follow the steps mentioned in
How do I install Minecraft: Java Edition? and install
the Java Edition of Minecraft on your computer.



Before purchasing the Java Edition of Minecraft, I suggest you to refer the system requirements for installing the Java Edition of Minecraft from
