    Unable to disconnect Mapped drive

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

As you have mentioned that you have removed the mapped drives through GPO and still the drive keeps appearing, I suggest you to try removing the mapped drive by running the Net use command in Command Prompt and see if that helps. Please follow the
    steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows key + S, and type Command Prompt.
    2. Right click on the Command Prompt icon and select
      Run as administrator.
    3. Now, type net use f: \\financial\public /delete
(Replace f: \\financial\public with the drive name)

For more information on Net use command, you can refer the article
    Net use
    .

If the issue persists, I suggest you to post your query in TechNet
    forums
, where we have support professionals who are well equipped with the knowledge on the GPO and mapped drivers to assist you with the appropriate details.

    Regards,

Unable to access mapped drives over local network if internet connection is down.

I have a local network and several NAS drives and computer drives on the local network that are setup as mapped drives. Recently our internet connection went down for a couple of days and we were
unable to access any of the mapped drives on the LOCAL network once a user signed off, booted a computer or rebooted the computer. The Network folder showed the NAS drives and we could access the NAS devices web setup pages but not the actual
    data on the drives.

    Why is this happening???

    Unable To Map Network Drive

I have two Windows 10 machines named Studio and Digital on an Ethernet network. I had Windows reinstalled on the Digital machine. From the Digital machine I can map a network drive on the Studio machine. From the Studio machine I am unable to map to the hard drive on the Digital machine. I am pretty sure I have everything setup correctly on the Digital machine including the computer name, account name, password etc.
When I select the Digital machine and drive the "Enter Network Password" box appears and it says my network password is not correct.
    Please see the attached screenshot.
Can someone please give me ideas as to what the problem may be? Thanks very much Bill
