Windows 10: Unable to open application after installation - "the parameter is incorrect"

I need assistance downloading an application from http://toxtree.sourceforge.net/

As I run the software and approve administrative changes, an error message appears with the file path and "the parameter is incorrect".

What exactly does this mean and am I able to fix it from home? Other posts online appear to address this as an external hard-drive error, but I am attempting to download this directly to my local disk.

"The Parameter is incorrect"

Suddenly, after using ATiTool 0.023 (stable) for a while now, it now states that "the parameter is incorrect" Everytime I click on Load, Delete & Properties.

My graphics card seems to be fine (AIW 9800SE @ 9800 due to softmod), all eight pipelines are enabled, but I'm unable to use all of ATiTool's full potentional.

If anyone can tell me how to correct this issue, that would be grand! *Wink
