Windows 10: Unable to open .exe files

I am unable to open some .exe files on my pc from the past 3 days. A message pops up saying that msvcp_win.dll and ucrtbase.dll both are missing. I tried replacing them both with full administrative control but I am not allowed still. The .dll files are present in System32 folder but when I try to register it using regsvr32 in CMD it says loading point not found.My only option is to now Clean install Win10 but I don;t want to lose data.

Exe file slow to open

A SFX archive isn't going to open right away. The files have to be extracted first. When you are opening it in WinRar, it's not extracting the file, it's just reading it which is why it opens right away.

 

I changes .exe (Default) files data value, and now I can't open .exe files. Can anyone tell me the normal data value for .exe?

Unable to Open .exe file

Hi Team,

I wanted to install Python in my system , I downloaded the .exe file but unable to open it .

asks me to look for an app in the store. Not sure which app I shud have in my system to open it.

Could you please advice on this.
