Hi Sun. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.

Did you try to change the settings back that you changed?

See if you can System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide: Restoring Windows 10 to an earlier point in time

System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before a problem began. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this started.

If the problem repeats then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide
    Updates tool explained here: https://www.howtogeek.com/223864/how-to-uninstall-and-block-updates-and-drivers-on-windows-10/

See fixes for Game Bar here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402858...

    https://www.askvg.com/fix-game-bar-is-not-openi...

    https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/xbox-game-bar-not...

    https://www.guidingtech.com/windows-10-game-bar...

If that doesn't help then Reset Game Bar in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox Game bar > Advanced Options.

If that doesn't help then re-register Xbox Game bar from Option 2 here:
    http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

And if that doesn't help then uninstall Game Bar in App Settings above, restart PC, reinstall Game Bar from Microsoft Store Settings > My Library.

If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, is the most stable method to advance to the latest
version, and solves most problems. Windows 10 herunterladen

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to choose if I solved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

DOOM Game Bar not opening; possibly not recongnized as a game

    Hi Max,

There are various reasons why the Game bar does not open when your game is in fullscreen mode. It is possible that this option is not enabled in the Game bar settings. To resolve your concern, you may perform the following methods on how to show the game
bar when playing a game in fullscreen mode:

Method 1. Enable the settings using the Game bar.

    • Press the Windows key + G.
    • Click on the Settings icon and go to the General
      tab.
    • Check Record game in the background and check Show Game bar when I play full-screen games Microsoft has verified.
    • You can also check Remember this game so you will not be asked for the same option again and restart your game for the changes to take effect.

Method 2. Change the Game bar settings in the Windows settings.

    • Press Start and click on the Settings icon.
    • Go to Gaming and check Show Game bar when I play full-screen games Microsoft has verified.

If you are unable to see these settings on your computer, make sure that the operating system is updated to version
1703 or higher. To check for new updates, you may follow the steps on this

    link
    .

If the issue persists, manually update the Xbox App by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Here's how:

    • Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    • Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    • Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
