Windows 10: Unable to print due to wrong print settings - Windows 10 Email app

Hi!


I have a customer that is having an issue with printing from the Windows 10 E-mail app. Windows version is 19.03 but the problem has been present for quite some time now.

• The printer is a Brother DCP-7030.
• Printer works fine when printing from other applications.
• We tried repairing the mail app but still the same issue. Driver update is not available.
• We've checked the printer settings and can't find anything wrong. Also disabled E-mail app from making changes to the settings. Still getting "Unable to print due to wrong print settings".

Some suggestions have been made to turn off the UAC but that doesen't seem lika a long term solution.

Unable to print my emails

  Are you trying to print from the browser or the mail app?
  
• 
  Is the issue specific to printing emails?
  
• 
  Are you able to print documents and other email account without any issues?
  
• 
  Have you updated all the drivers including display drivers after upgrading to Windows 10?
  

If not, I would suggest you to visit the manufacture website and download and install all the drivers and then try to print again.

Unable to print emails when display set at 125%

Being visually impaired we keep the windows 10 display at 125% for ease of use. By trial and error I discovered that when the display is set at 125% the print app for an email is too large therefore unable to utilize the print / cancel button at the bottom
of the page. Is there a way to decrease the size of the print app or in order to print that email do we have to go back to the display setting and make it 100%, print and then go back in to increase it to 125% once again? If there is a step or quick maneuver
I am missing I would appreciate that information. Thank you in advance

 

Unable to print yahoo emails in Windows 10

For the better clarification of the issue, please answer the following questions:

  Are you getting any error messages while trying to print the emails?
  
• 
  What happens exactly when you try to print an email?
  
• 
  Are you able to print any other document?
  
• 
  How are you accessing emails, through web browser or mail app?
  

I would suggest you to try printing the emails from a different browser.

If the issue still persist, try the troubleshooting steps in the below article and check if it helps.
