    Unable to reset Windows

Almost a week ago I was installing a game from steam. My computer blue screened for the first time ever. When it was done rebooting I got a notification saying "Restart to repair drive errors". So I did and was presented with the same notification again. I have been thinking about wiping my hard drive and starting fresh and this made the decision a lot easier. I gathered the files I would like to keep on an external device and went on with figuring out how to reset windows. The process was going well until I was through the menu after holding the shift key and clicking restart from the windows menu. It was resetting windows and stopped, undid the changes it made and gave me "There was a problem resetting your PC". So I looked that sentence up and tried some solutions that popped up. I tried the "sfc scannow" in the commend prompt. I also tried upgrading my pc through the windows media creation tool. I then went to Microsoft support and tried doing a clean boot by disabling some programs. The next option was to install the windows instillation onto a usb from the media creation tool and try to reinstall windows that way from the BIOS. This did not work either. I was presented with a black screen and a blinking white underscore in the upper left hand of the screen. This after noon I was back with Microsoft support and the guy told me to update my BIOS and try that again. This also didn't work. This afternoon I have been tinkering with a friend who tried installing the windows installed to a usb and it worked no issues for him. I made sure that fast boot was disabled and legacy boot was enabled in the BIOS. What I have also noticed is that if I make any sort of change whether it be rearranging my desktop, downloading or deleting a file, that change that was made, file that was downloading or deleted is now back to how it was prior to making a change. My desktop will have the deleted file right back where it was. My history isn't showing up on Firefox, nor are new bookmarks. I have windows installed on an NVME M.2 drive and it had been for the past 2.5 years. No issues up until now. All I m wanting to do is reset windows to "factory" and wipe my hard drives but I am unable to do so. Any help or suggestions would be great.

    :)

    Unable to reset Windows

How to reset whole netsh? (Windows 7)

Was wondering has the commands changed somehow since on Windows XP and on Windows Vista 'NETSH INT RESET ALL' cleaned entire netsh up from top to bottom.

Now on Windows 7 this same command says no go and only way I can see it is by building .cmd/.bat which does something like:

Code: netsh winsock reset all netsh int 6to4 reset all netsh int ipv4 reset all netsh int ipv6 reset all netsh int httpstunnel reset all netsh int isatap reset all netsh int portproxy reset all netsh int tcp reset all netsh int teredo reset all[/quote] now the king of the hill of bugs is this doesn't actually do even it's job even after reboot. values setup to are not reset to defaults. (I know I could add more entire list of entries there is, but looking for clean delete/wipe settings & default everything not to dump entire list of resets.)

So, anyone got a plan B?
