Windows 10: Unable to run Task using Task Scheduler

Task scheduler using local non-admin account to run shutdown /s not working. Asks for password then gives error that account does not have privileges'. I change the user running the account to admin, run whether logged off or not, not storing password, same error after inputting password. This same task ran with no problem two days ago using non-admin account, did not ask for password. No substantive system changes on my end.

• Open Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type this net start task scheduler and hit Enter.

Cannot schedule a task with Task Scheduler - error 2147942403

Hi,

I suggest you to check the below settings and check fi it helps.

• In task scheduler, click on the scheduled job properties > then settings.
• In the last listed option: "If the task is already running, the following rule applies:"
• Select "Stop the existing instance" from the drop down list.
• Save and Exit. Then check whether the task is running or not.
