  1. Unable to see Auto Scan by Windows Security.

    To,

    Microsoft

Hi, this is Gavin. I am using the following Windows OS & Windows Security Version
    → OS: Windows 10, Version 2004 OS Build: 19041.572
→ Windows Security Formerly Windows Defender: Antimalware Client Version - 4.18.2009.7, Engine Version - 1.1.17500.4,

Antivirus Version - 1.325.961.0, Antispiware Version - 1.325.961.0, Security intelligence is up to date, Last update -- 18-10-2020 08:21 AM.

When i connect My Pen Drive or External Hard Disk to My Laptop, Windows Security Formerly Windows Defender dosen't automatically start Scanning. I have to evertime do it manually to remove Virus.

Is there any Settings that i need to do for Windows Security so that next time when i connect My Pen Drive or External Hard Disk to My Laptop, it will automatically start scanning & remove unwanted Virus from it.

    Please help.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Gavin

    :)

    Windows Security Virus Scan

Please confirm you don't have a list like this:

Unable to see Auto Scan by Windows Security. [IMG]

e.g. from here (or via the control panel):

Unable to see Auto Scan by Windows Security. [IMG]

If not, suggests deeper problems. To which uninstall option are you referring? (A picture is worth...)

  3. Windows Security Virus Scan

Yes that's exactly what I have. If you notice there is an uninstall option next to organize if you scroll to other updates ie. office, but it will disappear once you scroll to the latest updates.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
