    Unable to set network priority in Win10 1903


    Network priority nightmare!

    In a standard network config that I and my colleagues run, we have an "office" network using the onboard NIC, and a second high speed network running on a plug in NIC. The main client software runs on the "office" NIC and a specialised AOIP programs uses the plug in NIC. Previously, priority was given to the "office" NIC for the client software and it ran fine. I have just loaded 1903, and there is no Adaptors and Bindings tag now. If priority is set through "Metrics" with command shell, it does not change the priority. To check, we have pushed the Client software onto the plug in NIC and it works, but the AOIP is having issues with the slow onboard NIC.

    Why was this changed?, What am I missing? When will it be fixed?

    Hello Denis, Unable to set network priority in Win10 1903 :)

    The command in step 2 of Option Two should show your wireless networks listed in priority order. Top of the list is higher.

    Network Priorities

    Hey

    I was just wondering if there is a way to set network priorities.

    Give one computer less priority so that my parents don't get up me for hogging all the speed with torrents and such.

    Also block access of some computers to the internet at certain times of the day
