Windows 10: Unable to sign in to my BBC account...

I have a new pc which I have been in the process of setting up,
I have tried to sign in to my BBC account without success, I keep
getting a security warning saying I don't have a private connection ( I do),
I have no issues with any other sites,only with the BBC.
I believe Windows may have revoked the certificates for the site now,
so,my question is " how do I access the BBC iPlayer and sign in?".

3. From when is the issue persisting?

4. Do you get any error message related to issue?

5. Are you able to access any other accounts (if any) in your Computer?

Whenever I try to sign in it takes a while to load then it goes to whatever happened, is probably our fault, please try again then I do try again same thing happens then i click the next button just to try still nothing and all i want to do is add my email
address to my laptop for windows but it will not let me can anyone give me a hand and ive been waiting to be talked to for about an hour now and getting a little impatient during my wait for an answer i hope someone can help me out with my dilema.

 

Looks like it's the intermediate certificate that has been revoked. I.E. The actual GlobalSign (Certificate Authority) cert, rather than the www[.]bbc.co.uk leaf certificate. That's urm... interesting to say the least.

There's not a lot you can do for the moment, as only the BBC or GlobalSign can resolve this. For some reason Edge will display the https://www.bbc.com/signin signin page, but I wouldn't recommend it for now because I'm not sure why the GlobalSign cert has been revoked. Although it's possible it was revoked by GlobalSign in a pretty monumental cock-up, the certificate may also have been revoked for a genuine reason and therefore cannot be trusted until we know the reason why it was revoked.

So, hold tight for the time being.

The below pic is from the GlobalSign website, but the same still stands. Just wait for them to sort it out their end.

Any other website certificates that were signed with that same revoked GlobalSign certificate will also have the same problem until it's sorted out (I.E. www[.]theguardian.com, www[.]eurotunnel.com, etc.).
