Windows 10: Unable to uninstall a Windows Update

Hi all.

Windows Update KB4515384 is causing me issues and I need to uninstall it, I've managed to uninstall every update that superceded it and it's the only update I have left to get rid of.

When I try to uninstall it I get the error "An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled." I've tried everything I can find online, DISM doesn't even find it as a package when I'm in WinRE and the package that it finds which I think may be linked to the issue I'm having gives "Error 1168 Element not found" when I try to remove it. I'm at wits end with trying to remove this update, can anyone please assist?

I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Unable to uninstall windows update

Oops..!! this particular tool (wushowhide) wasn't able to detect updates to be hid because I had the Windows Update service disable.

But even after enabling the service, the tool was able to detect the updates that we can hide but they are not the ones which were recently applied in my system and I want to hide them. Instead, it displays the driver related updates which I don't want to hide.
I have attached screenshots of both the wushowhide and the Uninstall Windows update page.

 

Unable to uninstall Internet explorer 8

hello, i am new to the forums, i am having trouble uninstalling internet explorer 8, i have windows xp home edition, i went to control panel/add remove programs and it doesn't show there, i tried going into the main folder for IE8 but there is no uninstall icon, the reason i want to uninstall it is because i want to install back version 7, and it wont let me unless i uninstall the newer version. any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions. Can't uninstall anything at the moments because Windows has 1GB of updates to deal with....
