    Unable to update beyond insider preview 17661 .. Msoft unable/unprepared to help!


    Hi


    I am stuck on insider preview 17661 ... of all releases to be stuck on this is one of the worst!.


    I have tried every method on the web to get the updates to stick including in place upgrade repairs from ISO .


    Al fail at 1st boot stage sysprep.


    DISM fails to complete at 88.8% despite reporting issues are fixable!

    Can anyone help me get the october 2018 release updated please?

    Hi,

    Currently I am on 14986 build and unable to install the latest build and keep getting the pop-up message to install the latest build. As I am trying to update the build but it's keep failing and getting error. Is there any direct link to download and install

    I copied it there, - but why am I still on 17661? What happened to "update"? -

    OK, I changed my "build pace" from slow to fast.

    Maybe 17661 was a dog when I switched back to slow at wrong time.! I'll wait for it to upgrade...
