Windows 10: Unable to update to Windows 10 November 2019 version 1909 update

Ever since I've installed the Windows May 2019 update I've been unable to download and install updates for every month, I've tried resetting Windows update and running the troubleshooter but that didn't help, I've now decided to download the November 2019 1909 update and getting the same error code that it couldn't be installed, any suggestions would be appreciated but I think I might have to wait and try the update assistant when Microsoft decides to update that, right now it's still the May update for the update assistant, please see attached screenshot

Hi Misty,

"Supposedly" the Windows 10 1909 November 2019 update is due for release to the general public Next Month in November. However, there is NO official date set by MS yet, "Rumer".... has it, possible on patch Tuesday which is on the
12th. lets keep our fingers crossed for then...

 

What is new in Windows 10 version 1909

This is a tutorial, not a "source" although I would be inclined to trust the information. Still, it doesn't qualify as a legitimate release date.

I've never heard of this site, although the information looks solid. How to Get Windows 10 November 2019 Update Before Its Public Release What I see on this site is a tutorial on how to join the Windows Insider Program. However, there is nothing whatsoever telling us when the November 2019 Update will be released.

3.

I've never heard of this site, either. Although the site gives a release date of November 12, it was written on October 11, 2019 and actually is a repeat of information supplied by Zac Bowden, Sr. Editor of Windows Central. What I gather from Zac's post is that he's making an educated guess of Patch Tuesday for release of the November 2019 Update.

This is not a site I would care to frequent. It's a rehash of old and somewhat new information written by other and more prominent authors.

2.

I would suggest that instead of just picking out something from the Internet, you try ZDNet.com and WindowsCentral.com. You'll get the most up-to-date and most correct information from these site. Even PCMag.com is better than the links you've supplied.
