    Unable to update to Windows10 v2004


    Hi,
    I have a surface studio2 that runs of v1909 but is unable to update my windows. Hex code keeps appearing whenever I try. I have tried running clean boot, WUReset, and also tried installing mediaCreationTool2004. All unsucessful. Any advice?

    Hi Ray,

    To troubleshoot your issue, we suggest doing these following troubleshooting methods:

    Method 1

    • Turn off your PC.
    • Press and hold Shift then turn on your PC.
    • Wait for the setup (set up fixes the problem automatically).
    Method 2

    • Create a media creation tool by following the steps in this
      link      .
    • Select your preferred installation option and wait for the process to finish.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
