Windows 10: Unable to update windows 10 Pro past version 1909

Hello, since version 1909 all my major windows update have failed. They all fail at the same time, after the reboot that occurs around 70% during the installation. My PC reboots once, then twice without getting to the installation screen. Then windows rolls back the installation ("Undoing changes made to your computer").

I have run SetupDiag but the error isn't very useful: Error: SetupDiag reports rollback failure found.Last Phase = Post First BootLast Operation = Ensure suspended services are stoppedError = 0xC1900101-0x40017

I have searched for this error but found no fix for it.

Here is what I tried:

- Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter (which said it had fixed some problems)

- Updating from the Windows Assistant instead of From windows update

- Updating right after a clean boot with nothing open.

- Update with no device plugged into by PC besides my 2 monitors

- Stopping windows update and deleting the content of this folder before the update: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution



I have 78gig left on my hard drive so I doubt it's a space issue.

I am not sure what else to do and would like to avoid a full reinstall.

My exact windows version is:

Win 10 Pro

1909

18363.1440

Motherboard is ASUS TUF X570 gaming

CPU is Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU is Gigabyte Geforce 2070 Super

Ram is Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz

Unable to update Window 10 Pro version 1607 to version 1709

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1607 to the latest version 1709 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer
• Ran the DISM.exe

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101 - 0x30018
• 0x900704c7

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.

Unable to read a DVD in running Windows 10 Pro Version 1909

I am unable to read a DVD on my Dell XPS M1530 after upgrading windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro Version 1909.

All properties in Device manager are optional, but I still can not read a DVD. Help!!
