Windows 10: Unable to upgrade to Windows 11 23H2 - Error 0x8007042b 0x2000d SAFE_OS MIGRATE_DATA

Hello, I've been trying to apply the latest Windows 11 update but the operation keeps rolling back at about 24% of the installation procedure.I have extensively searched this site and the web for solutions and have tried them all, so I'm posting part of the C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log file, the sections where the error is first mentioned, the whole file is too large, about 175 MB.Hopefully you'll be able to point me in the right direction.Thank you.LOG:---2023-12-03 12:34:54, Info MIG TrackedOperations: Adding operation 3 for Registry-HKLM\Softwar

Windows 8 to10, error code: 0x8007042B - 0x2000D. The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation.

When trying to upgrade my Inspiron laptop from Windows 8 to10, I receive this error code: 0x8007042B - 0x2000D. The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation. I've tried all troubleshooting methods I can think of. I cannot find this error code or message on the Microsoft website.

if you don't know how to fix this issue with upgrading win to newest version

first check your free space on system drive

in my case i have 100GB free but user profile folder and win itself due to age of this installation ( from win 7) have 90GB

and super iso or what ever during upgrade process copy all this stuff to temp folder (probably Satya Nadella knows for what)

You could check an error regarding this in log file in one of this backup folder which stays after failure...

so all this crap info with media creation tool iso and clean restart is just proof that you don't know nothing about this process

For Microsoft developers, on the beginning of installation is worth to check free disc space on system drive and put some info about it

and then couple of angry users just disappears....
