    Unable to upgrade windows to 1809 from 1803


    Hi there, I am attempting to upgrade to the newest version of windows ( 1809 ) since it is important to my work.

    I have attempted using the update assistant but it says there is no available update.

    My system is currently running windows 10 pro Version 10.0.17134 Build 1713. (http://prntscr.com/l6r4d4)

    My system contains a i5 4690k, a 250gb ssd, Z97-HD3 motherboard and a gtx 1060 3gb aswell as 16gb of ram. I have tried using the windows 10 creation tool however I just get this message:

    I dont want to have to fresh install windows.

    I am using a English united states language pack so I am unsure what the issue could be at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Skip 1803 and get 1809.

    Hi SageHalo2983128,

    Yes if you can manage to block 1803, when 1809 is released you can go straight to that version, there is no requirement to have 1803 to get 1809 . ..

    Is it okay for me to skip the April 1803 update and get the Fall 1809 update instead?

    Well, I have an Alienware and I tried to get 1803, but it was very buggy, so I restored and Microsoft blocked 1803 on Alienware.

    I was just hoping i could get 1809 without having gotten 1803.
