Windows 10: Unallocated partition on disk C system drive - SSD

Hello


I noticed I have an unallocated space on my windows drive. The drive is SSD.


Should I leave it be or can this somehow be allocated to the rest of the drive C:.


Do I simply use the extend volume option in Disk Management on drive C:?

Hi Travis,

It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

• In Disk Management, right-click on (C which appears next to the
  Unallocated partition.
  
• Select Extend.

Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.

To work with non-adjacent unallocated space you'll need third-party software. This type of software is known as partition software or re-partition software, like EaseUS Partition Master or Paragon Partition Manager. To find these and others, look on the
internet for professional reviews of partition managers.

Okay if I make an unsolicited suggestion? This is complicated software, so please invest the time to learn how to use it. There is no 'go-back' or 'do-over' when using partition software.
