  1. Unattend.xml Auto Login Issue

    I have searched various forums and posted in a MDT group, but I have not received any response or found any answers. In my OOBE Settings pass, I have autologon enabled for non built-in administrator, and I have the logon count set to 2. After the PC is done installing drivers, the PC just sits at the logon screen and doesn't auto login the administrator account. I can manually click on the administrator account, and it logs in without a password. Of note, this is the same unattend file that worked on Windows 10 pro version 1709, but it has not worked since. I am currently imaging PCs with Windows 10 pro version 1903. Here is my unattend.xml file:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

    Win10, multiple user logins: unattended auto updates?

    On a Win10 system with multiple user logins, only one of which has administrator privileges, do unattended auto updates work overnight?

    Or must someone be at the keyboard to re-login if the auto update must restart the system?

    Presumably, that could be done in the morning. But I would like the auto update to complete overnight, including any system restarts. In other words, the state of the system in the morning should be ready for anyone (a naïve user without administrator
    privileges) to log in and use the system unimpeded by any update "clean up".

    -----

    For that matter, what state must we leave the system in to permit unattended overnight for auto updates?

    I presume it cannot be logged into a user that does not have administrator privileges.

    But must it be logged into the user with administrator privileges? Or can it be left in the login screen, where we select the user to log in?

    Unattend.xml Auto Login Issue

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
