Windows 10: Unaware of how safe the current windows version is. Need to upgrade to an offical one

I have windows 10 installed, I wasn't the one who installed it. it was done through a computer technician and it had an activation key but It seemed like a pirated version considering the price at the time.


Now I want to have an official version. even a non activated one since my current one fails to activate with the current key Probably because it is pirated

I have done the following steps:


1- Do a full reset

2- Use fresh start tool


It took hours to finish those but I'm not really sure if I have an official version especially that my old activation key is still shown on Activation page. so I assume there is some old data still in the system.


I have also ran this command slmgr.vbs /dlv as I saw people asking for it. Not sure if I should post it publicly here..


Long story short.. How can I upgrade to an official windows version without leaving any trace of old one, also not lose files saved in other partitions like E or D.

Windows 10 version of Office has disappeared

• Which version of office have you installed on your computer?

I suggest you to go to follow the below steps to search the office apps on your computer and check if it helps.

• Press “Windows+X”, go to “Control panel”.
• Click on “Programs and features”.
• Check whether you can find office app located in programs list or not.

Which version of Office 2019 should I upgrade to not to for this ?

I have had few tragic incidences of either losing older Outlook databases or the incompatibility of which despite whatever steps suggested by Microsoft to migrate them to new format .

So basically my pcs/laptops are now running on both office 2013 / 2016 , and since the 2013 version is starting to age i am considering upgrading all to 2019 , now are there any recommended versions that are more Outlook friendly / reliable than others to upgrade with less hassles ?
