Windows 10: Unclaimed Game Pass tied to this device after clean install question

Hi, I was wondering if I did a clean install of windows would the subscription that I got for buying a new laptop still be there if I don't claim it first? It shows up in the shop as tied to this device and I have 2026 to claim it. If it does disappear, do you think I'll have any issues getting it back by going through support as long as I took a picture of it?

13 Year Old Unclaimed Zune Pass

Hello everyone. I just recently did some spring cleaning and found my unclaimed Zune Pass with the scratch protector still over the code. I know zune is beyond dead but could I trade this to Microsoft in exchange for credit even though it's like 13 years old and most likely worthless?

If you can’t install Game Pass Games on your PC, follow these suggestions:

Check if you have the right Game Pass

Clear Cache of Xbox Game Pass App

Update to the latest Windows 10 version,viz v1903

Admin privileges for Games

Give Admin privileges for Games

Check Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Repair Game if it keeps crashing or doesn’t work

Cannot Sign in to Xbox Live

Unclaimed xbox game pass gone after system restore

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Xbox Game Pass subscription. Since you have performed a system restore, it is possible that the subscription may have been removed. However, I recommend that you try the following steps to see if the subscription can be retrieved:



1. Open the Microsoft Store app on your laptop.

2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select "Downloads and updates".

3. Click on "Get updates" to ensure that your Microsoft Store app is up to date.

4. Once the updates are complete, click on the three dots again and select "My Library".

5. Look for the Xbox Game Pass subscription in the list of apps and click on it.

6. If the subscription is still available, click on "Install" to download and install it.



If the subscription is not available in your library, I recommend that you contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They will be able to help you with any issues related to your Xbox Game Pass subscription. They may provide you a replacement if necessary so there is nothing to worry.
