Windows 10: UnCompatible Graphics Driver Windows 10 1909, 1903 & KB3074678

Hi,

So I'm back again with the same issue another day. Brief Details So the issue is still the same after that when I wasn't able to fix the issue even when I installed Windows 8/8.1 the issue was still there.
So I uninstalled windows went back to Linux but now I started a new job and I wasn't able to get MS Office working at its 100% there were some issues so I had to install windows so I went for windows 7 but now the support for W7 has been ended, So Brought a DVD for windows 10 and Installed it Probably KB3074678 idk the build version and again I faced the Freezing issue but it wasn't that much, so I didn't pay that much attention but yesterday It started updating1903 in office because Mondays you know after the update it started to freeze as hell I wasn't able to send a single email so I decided to trace the issue because it wasn't lagging in the safe mode. So The First thing I did was deleting the Display Drivers Intel HD Graphics 3000 and Bingo!


It stopped freezing but soon after the windows updated the drivers back, So First I disabled the driver so that windows doesn't update the driver now I have deleted to drivers and it's working fine. So Now to fix this permanently I'm here to work with any Windows Developer who needs log files or any other info.

AMD R6 Graphics (Primary) Not Working After Windows 10 1903 update

I found the solution for this problem by trying various combinations.

The steps that I followed were:

1. Install Windows 10 1903 via the update assistant.
2. Windows will alert that no drivers are installed for the AMD device on completion of installation of Windows 10 1903.
3. Go to Device Manager
4. Uninstall the device(For my case the R6 graphics, that had error code 43).
5. Do not scan for hardware changes.
6. Install AMD display driver (19.7.1 is the one I installed)

Note: The display remained black for 8minutes, in my case, while installing the AMD driver.

Done.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

 

Windows 10 1903 1909 repeated failure to update

Well would't you know it. I did everything, every step, all the suggestions, months of failed downloads and was going to wipe everything tomorrow and start again, but remembered I hadn't tried your suggestion of updating to 1809 before 1903/09, and blow
me down, but it's updated to 1809 with ease!

I have yet to dare to try and get it to update to 1909 but it's the 1st progress in months, so thanks.
