    Under Win 10, file explorer stopped working


    The file explorer stopped working. I tried to start the sfc /scannow utility, however the dos cmd prompt for admin does not come up. I tried a regular dos command, but apparently does not have admin privileges. My computer account has admin privileges.

    Any advise?

    File Explorer has gone crazy after last nights upgrade.

    My only has icons instead of full descriptions. I can not get back to a point where I have tabs that actually say something. Please tell me how to get my view repaired? help... Help.... HELP!!!

    Win 10 skips File Explorer

    Hello,

    I'm on the desktop (with all the tiles) and I click on File Explorer. From there I click on a file to open it and when I am finished with that file I click to exit it. Instead of just closing that file, as I want it to do, Win 10 skips File Explorer and goes
    back to the desktop and I have to re-click on File Explorer again to work on another file. How can I get Win 10 to stop doing that?
